Can't believe this council has come up with the plan to extort more money from us by charging us for recycling! (Brown bin charge).Actually yes I can believe it. Not exactly an incentive to recycle is it.Well I for one will not be paying for something that I already pay for. I'm not going to pay twice to line idol pockets. Charge people to recycle? Eh? That's it for me.

Should be a -1, what an absolute shambles
Grass cutting, they cut it when it's a foot high and shred one piece of litter into multiple pieces, the cuttings are scattered all over paths, slippy when wet! that's after they have damaged my garden wall, not liable lol
Litter never picked up, road sweeper truck drives around to look like it's been done! but no litter in the kerbs, it's everywhere else!
Some paths hav'nt been swept for years! fireworks from the millenium tell the tale lol
Potholes, damage to vehicles, not liable as they appear overnight and the council don't have vehicles on the road!

The whole North Tyneside Council is a shambles from top to bottom. The public, including myself are paying a lot of money for there services & they are not fulfilling what they should be doing. The decision's around North Tyneside have been abosultely shocking let alone the services. This area deserves a lot better. Councilor's dont even turn up for the outcome of an important decision which fundamentally can impact where people live. They are trying to cut costs where ever possible which again is at the public's cost.

If there is such a thing as a 0/10 I'd give it... just been told by them to rehang and fit my livingroom door ourselves and my wife is a disabled woman ... disgraceful...this was all because we fitted new carpets in the property...😞😞 we were told by them when we phoned originally that they deffo and it wouldnt be a problem.. so we waited the 5 and a half weeks and today we had one of their joiners that he can't touch it at all....as a tenant we have to either pay someone else to do it or refit it ourselves...im so stunned by this...😞😞 got a Joiner from whitley Bay to refit it for me.... 😕😕

Couples of week ago, I was waiting for the council to come in and check with the gas safety inspection. They sent me a message that they cancelled the appointment and moved to a different date two weeks later which I don't mind. However, a week later, we received a letter from them, warning us that if we don't let them in, we would be in trouble with the court What disgusting is that THEY'RE the one who cancelled the appointment and this only happened once, yet they sent me a letter of threat? So I gave them a call, explaining the situation and all they said was "Oh we don't do anything about the letter, they're sending the letter based on the report. As long they attend the appointment next week, you'll be fine!." They sound very oblivious to the situation and they didn't apologise or at least acknowledge the issue.

Really poor management and lack of communication. They better not do that again, especially towards vulnerable and elderly people.
