My wife and I had a fantastic experience at Fabworks Mill Shop in Dewsbury! The shop is a spacious, inviting warehouse that’s perfect for fabric lovers. It’s neatly divided into categories by fabric type, which made it so easy to find exactly what we were looking for. The haberdashery shelves were also full of goodies. We were especially impressed by their own-brand linens and wools—they’re definitely the stars of the show. We also found some great deals in the reduced sections. The best fabric store I’ve ever been to! A lot of the fabric shops near me only stock basic cottons and quilting type fabrics however, Fabworks have got the largest selection of fabrics I have ever seen! The staff are so helpful and lovely and everything is so reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend a visit especially if you are a fashion student, got everything I needed for my course and when I decide what I want in larger quantities they are able to ship the fabrics out to you! X

A friend of mine took me here on Saturday. Wow! What an amazing fabric store. Just everything you could ever need. Managed to have some restraint haha and only bought 3 fabrics. I'd say the best thing about this place is the staff are so friendly and helpful. I often feel a bit confused in craft stores and never sure what the etiquette is (do I pick up the bolts do I not?!) The staff made me feel so comfortable, were friendly, helpful, talked to me about my fabric. Great experience! Will be planning more trips from Leeds very soon!

Good range of fabrics and prices seem fair, unfortunately they seemed to be understaffed (or just too busy chitchatting).

I waited for 15mn with my 4 bolts of fabric queuing to get them cut, and while I patiently waited my turn I witnessed a staff being rude at one older lady so I decided to leave without purchasing.

I am sure this shop is lovely when off-peak though (and when less pressure is on the staff), maybe I was just unlucky!

I’m fairly new to sewing so was rather nervous of buying online. I needn’t have worried, Fabworks’ melton fabric quality was absolutely fabulous and I’m really looking forward to trying to make a coat. Plus, when I made a mistake on the order (by accidentally ordering too much cotton) they spotted it and rang to confirm for which I am very grateful.
