I recently visited Hype Coiffure for a blowout and color, I couldn't be more impressed!
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the staff and felt right at home.
My stylist, Schola took the time to really listen to what I wanted and gave great suggestions. Overall, the whole experience was fantastic, and I left feeling amazing!!
Highly recommend Hype Coiffure to anyone looking for top-notch service, great results, and a truly enjoyable experience.

The poorest customer service I have ever experienced, I ordered hair products via their website and paid for delivery. A month later the products haven’t arrived and I received no communication from the company. I contacted them via email and received no reply. I have make numerous attempts to get a refund via the telephone but to no avail. I am advised the reason I didn’t receive the items is because they are out of stock. An email and refund would have been helpful but clearly communication is too much to ask. I have been advised I would be refunded but at the time of writing no refund has been issued and the manager has not returned my calls as promised. The service is extremely unprofessional and I certainly wouldn’t be purchasing anything again and wouldn’t attempt getting my hair done either! Taking peoples money and not providing the goods, ignoring emails and not calling back…..not good signs of honesty and integrity.

Had a great experience here. I had booked the wrong service but they were very accommodating and I ended up having a fantastic cut by Artistic Director 5ive. I'm looking forward to coming back for a colour. Would recommend for those looking for a good barber cut and kind staff. Thanks again 5ive!

During my last visit, the stylist rushed through my texture release appointment, which caused some problems such as the experience being rushed and uncomfortable (hooded dryer & straighter too hot), and my hair being over processed, which unfortunately doesn’t look like it’s going to revert. I’ve now spoken to the salon who kindly issued a refund and offered to remedy my hair with another stylist if I was keen, and also assured me they are taking steps to prevent this from happening again, and to generally enhance the customer experience.

Love the stylist and staff here. When I called, the front receptionist was prompt, professional and warm with scheduling. I haven't had my hair styled in the Salon since 2009. The stylist was thorough, did not overload my hair with products and educated me on how, I can improve the health of my hair. 5 was my stylist and was wonderful. The young lady who washed and shampooed my hair was lovely. 5, sent me home with samples which I am deeply grateful for. I look forward to coming back to this gem of a place.

Do not go to this salon if you have natural hair! The staff are very heavy handed! Pulled out so much of my hair. I went to get my texturised and have ended up with a head full of relaxer hair... like no texturised was used. My hairs falling out. My edges are completely gone and I dunno if they’re grow back.

The hairdresser had three clients at the same time so no time to actually do my hair properly or carry out the treatment I had requested.

A junior dried my hair and she had no clue what she was going and probably lead to more hair breakage 0/5! Overpriced! May as well have done the treatment at home! Not a single professional conduct taken while doing my hair.
