Bizarre Odd waste of time...and that because of just a phone conversation as no work job service done whatsoever.
So I called 2 times to get an estimation regarding the cushions of my sofa with new foam being replaced. 1st time as called on Monday I've been told to call back the following Thursday for whatever was the reason, possible something with moving flat decorating..
Called on Thursday and again same excuse asking to call back the next Tuesday. As given the same reason about the flat, I said ...well I can but 3rd time mate I need an estimation and possibly job to be done. When asked for his name... a moment of panic, silence, then said Martin and told mine. What's the problem in asking what's your name?
He hasn't given any on 1st call, anyway when I told him that eventually will be my 3rd call and I need to move on from estimation stage, that's when he suggested to have whatever I seek somewhere else. I probably hung up before he finished the sentence. Rude unprofessional somehow, if you knew that would have been difficult for you just say it at the beginning instead of postponing...call me here call me then.
I cannot take extra work at the moment because I'm moving flat. Easy peasy
All this for an estimation, never mind I live close to your work place.
So no service done and just because of poor not straigth forward customer service, 2 stars are just right.

Ps Martin you can follow with whatever. I know you know, you wasted my time after I did what asked on your time. That's unfair

I recently had my sofa reupholstered. I can’t recommend this company enough. Martin responded to my emails and questions promptly from quote to completion. Everything went to schedule from start to finish and the result was amazing. My tatty 20 year old sofa was transformed to a brand new beautiful modern piece of furniture in two weeks. I was truly blown away. So happy with the result.much better than I could have imagined.

Martin and his team were excellent. We had quite a difficult job and they responded quickly and professionally to all of our questions and concerns. They managed to do a brilliant job with a difficult fabric and although they were worried that the quality was sub-standard, to us it looked brilliant!! Job was finished earlier than expected as well - very quick and reasonably priced!

I really have to thank Martin and his team for a job well done, especially because he rushed the job and completed it very quickly so that I wouldn't have to endure lockdown without seating cushions on my sofa! The service, quality of work and price were all great, and I'll definitely come back if I need anything else re-upholstered.

We had a terrible experience with this company. Having kept hold of our sofa for much longer then promised, when he eventually finished it emerged that he had not done as we asked and what he had quoted for. He quickly became argumentative and abusive when politely questioned about the "service" he'd provided. All done via Whatsapp so it was easy to see that he had promised one thing and delivered another. It has been a really unpleasant experience dealing with him and I would not recommend him at all.

Five stars from start to finish. Immediate response to my email enquiry (sent after 6pm) with a quote. Then chair collected promptly, returned promptly and they did a fantastic job with the upholstery. Great communications throughout. Highly recommended.

Really good piece of work done by Martin. He managed to turn it round in a day and his price was the best I got after contacting about 7 different companies.
