Although we were the only people in there (it was a funny time 3pm)...we got a hearty, warm welcome. Decor is beautiful and cake was lush. Great coffee locally roasted. Definitely would return.

Usually when we're passing they're either sold out, and it's not surprising. The Lemon and blueberry cake was amazing. Coffee's perfect and even though they are tucked up in butchers row, the seating and location is great for a relaxing 10/20 mins out of the main path in Barnstaple.

I like this cafe, it’s very aesthetic, very Instagramable. The staff seem a bit not welcoming (been a couple of times and it’s been the case all times). The drinks are okay, nothing out of the ordinary, and the food is again okay. Nothing out of the ordinary. Not necessarily bad, but nothing wow.

Sat in for quick tea and cake. Cakes looked very impressive but we found they tasted bland. Additionally the tea came in a filter glass which dripped when pouring and the milk in impractical pottery vessels, which also dripped when pouring. Definitely a case of form/fashion over function. Staff seemed friendly enough and service was quick. Not cheap but has that air about it. Nice touch to include option to pay for someone's drink in future who cant afford it.

Great selection of sandwiches, made to order with salad. Smoothies are a treat. But best of all are the atmosphere, service and price. Frequented by the local shop owners and on a street of independent stores, worth a quick lunch stop.

Popped in today for lunch with the family, great looking cakes and coffee however the salad bowls we had were very poor. Falafel from a packet and some leaves and a dollop of hommus. Four salads and a toasty for 35 pounds is very poor value based on was served. Great locally owned venue so please do better.
