THE WORST!!! If I was able to give no stars I would because this salon do not care about their customers what so ever… After having my hair cut into a short bob the hair stylist proceeded to straighten my natural hair without apply any protector (or bothered to ask about what products were already on my hair) this caused extreme heat damage to my natural hair. After washing my hair and treating it at home with a deep conditioning treatment my hair did not revert back to its natural state! Iv never had heat damage ever in my life!! I was disgusted to see how unbothered this particular hairstylist was after ruining my hair when I returned to the salon to have a complementary treatment for the damaged caused. The staff are extremely rude, unprofessional and incompetent. No apology nothing!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS SALON BY ALL MEANS!!!

While I was living in Nottingham for a year, I was happy to find this safe and welcoming salon that catered to my type of hair. Moving away from home, can be very stressful but finding this Afro-Caribbean hair care salon gave me one less thing to worry about and my hair has been thriving!
Exceptional customer service from easy online booking to relaxing, clean environs and unmatched hospitality. I highly recommend.

The best braiding experience I've had.

From the moment I walked in for the appointment to when I walked out, I felt valued and looked after as a customer.

I showed Favour E a picture of what I'd like and asked her to do the braids a little wider and she matched it perfectly.

Additionally Judith was lovely with both her interaction with me and observing her with other clients.

Throughout the entire appointment I felt so comfortable and relaxed. It's clear that Judith, her staff and the clients all take a lot of pride in this beautiful salon.

This is a slightly late review, but valid non the less. I have been here twice - first time staff were lovely - second time - no one barely said two words to me - despite me coming in and saying hi and asking how everyone was. My braids only lasted two weeks as the began to unravel and the only time the stylist spoke to me was to tell me that there was a cash point across the road to draw out her tip as she’d prefer cash - I hadn’t even said I was tipping. The receptionist who was usually lovely was rude too - not an experience I ever wish to go through again. I won’t be back :

When I arrived at the salon, I had to wait 10 minutes before seeing someone. When my stylist finally came down, it seemed as though I had inconvenienced her with my appointment, she didn't even say hi or even smile. I had to explain why I was here before she simply told me to take a seat and show her a picture of the style I wanted. Felt like I was convincing them I had an appointment booked.

During the hair styling, I felt like she rushed through the cornrows, making them unsymmetrical and uneven and to a low standard that they look like tight twists instead of cornrows. I had initially pointed out problems with the hairstyle, however, even after attempting to fix it, it was not to an expected standard. My appointment time also over ran as they were also looking after another client for a while, so I couldn't stay to point out and fix all the problems with the style and had to rush back to work.

I complained about the service being rushed, stylist unfriendly and the end result was just not up to standard, even the middle parting was uneven, and the manager told me that is was my hairline being uneven and it was a "personal preference" on how chatty I want a stylist to be. I'm not a chatty person anyway, there's a difference between chatty and friendly. I do expect some level of approachability with my stylist. Previous salons had no problems with said hairline and were able to greet customers with a simple "hi". Also asked why I didn't make them aware of it on the same day. How do I do this when they seemed unapproachable, I had to rush back to work and I simply didn't have the time to write up an email that day? I am getting a refund on my £10 deposit though which is slightly positive (I originally asked for a full refund). Save your money and your time, trust me.

I've come to this salon 2 times for myself and once for my mum and honestly they are very talented hairdressers. They are welcoming and friendly very professional and know exactly what they are doing with hair. I've been pleased with the results on all 3 occasions.

A superb salon - we have not been able to find a salon locally for my daughter and are delighted with Fusion. They are professional, friendly and i wouldnt go anywhere else. I would 100% recommend Fusion to everyone.
